Yasmin Abdul Wahab received her B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering (Control and Instrumentation) with first-class honors, and her M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering, all from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor, Malaysia, in 2008, 2010, and 2017, respectively.
She joined Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), formerly Universiti Malaysia Pahang, in 2010 as a lecturer in the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology. Currently a Senior Lecturer, she served as Head of the Diploma Program from 2022 to 2024, during which time the program received full accreditation from the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC). She has been a registered Professional Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) since 2021.
Her research interests include process tomography, electrical tomography, sensor technology and instrumentation, applied electronics and computer engineering, and engineering education. A certified ClassPoint trainer, she actively incorporates active learning techniques into her engineering lectures.
